challenges for national parks
In parallel to these incidents, national parks in the USA, including the Yellowstone national park, are faced with considerable difficulties. A record of 331 million visitors was recorded in 2024. However, due to mass layoffs that also affected parking and other staff, there is a lack of workers for important services such as waste disposal and tours. The tense conditions already use environmental protection -conscious groups to organize protests against the scandalous layoffs of employees, whereby the uncertainty about the accessibility of the parks affects the holiday plans of many tourists. This situation could potentially bring significant financial losses for the region, as many vacationers have difficulty booking tours and finding information on ticket sales.Details | |
