Strolz warns: Viennese integration is on the verge of a dramatic collapse!

Vienna is on the brink of a national emergency – that was the alarming message from former NEOS boss Matthias Strolz. In an urgent Facebook post, Strolz warned of a dangerous development in the area of integration, which particularly affects the city of Vienna. “It is upending the city’s education system,” the politician stated, worrying the public by predicting that social tensions in the city could increase. “Without quick measures, there is a risk of security problems similar to those in major French cities,” Strolz continued, expressing concern that “no-go areas” could become a reality in Vienna if the city government does not act decisively. He criticized political leaders, particularly Vienna's city government, and warned that ignoring these challenges could jeopardize the government's legitimacy. These serious views were expressed by VOL.AT reported.

Strolz's drastic warnings were met with approval by the FPÖ. The Viennese FPÖ chairman Dominik Nepp saw his years of warnings about “social explosives” and a crisis in the wake of mass immigration confirmed. Nepp criticized the role of NEOS Vice Mayor Wiederkehr and asked why he did not ring the same alarm bells as Strolz. According to Nepp, SPÖ Mayor Ludwig's invitation policy is responsible for the current problems and has led to an untenable situation in Vienna, where gang wars between different groups of migrants are the order of the day. The FPÖ has been calling for a stop to mass immigration for years and announced that if an FPÖ mayor were to leave in 2025, social benefits for those entitled to asylum would be immediately canceled. “Vienna needs security and order – in the schools, on the streets and in the neighborhoods,” explained Nepp. These assessments of the current socio-political tensions were made by OTS documented.
