Cybex convinced: Only three children's high chairs pass the test!

In a current test of the Stiftung Warentest, twelve children's high chairs were examined, whereby the overall result was disappointing. Only three models could be classified as child -friendly, safe and safe and harmful to harm. The test winner is the Cybex Lemo 4-in-1, which is at the top with a price of over 750 euros, consisting of a base chair for 475 euros and accessories for 275 euros. This reported Infranken .

The other well -cut -off models include the Stokke Tripp Trapp, which is offered for 595 euros (additional accessories 336 euros), as well as the child force Enock, which is one of the cheaper options with 80 euros (including a maintenance strap). In the test, three models were rated with "good", while a high chair with the grade "satisfactory" and another with "sufficient" sections. Unfortunately, three models also fell through, including the Moji Yippy Plain due to safety defects and the Stokke Nomi and Hauck Sit’n Relax high chairs due to excessive pollutants. According to products in the test seven of the tested chairs were classified as growing and can be used up to school age.

The test grades show a mixed picture: there were three high chairs with the grade "good", while five models, including some simple wooden chairs, are poorly cut. The prices for the tested chairs varied strongly, starting 24 euros for the IKEA Antilop up to 150 euros for the Maxi-Cosi Moa or the PEG Perego Prima Pappa.

The Stiftung Warentest recommends that children should only be put in a high chair from the age of around 8 months if they can sit on the floor independently. The Cybex Lemo 4-in-1 is characterized by simple handling and safe processing, but has a slightly increased pollution. The Stokke Tripp Trapp is described as ergonomically and is suitable from birth to adulthood. The child power, although cheap, received criticism regarding body support and upholstery.
