Tragedy in Waiblingen: walkers found under a fallen tree

A tragic incident occurred last Thursday in Waiblingen-Hegnach, in the Rems-Murr district. A 33-year-old dog walker was found lifeless after a dog was reported running loose.

Police received a tip about the dog around 6 p.m. The animal's owner informed the officers that an acquaintance of hers was traveling with the dog. She had had no contact with the man since late afternoon. While searching for the 33-year-old, the emergency services also discovered his vehicle near the cemetery in Hegnach.
