In the night of May 19, 2025, around 0:15 a.m., there was a serious traffic accident on the B189 Mieminger federal road in the municipality of Obsteig, Tyrol. A 44-year-old Iraqi lost control of his vehicle after another car had got on the opposite lane. The description of the accident shows that the driver got off the road with his vehicle and slipped about 60 meters across a meadow.
