During the Styrian night there were serious traffic accidents that called several emergency services into action. Shortly after midnight, a young woman had an accident on the L440 when she left the road for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree. The police reported that the woman's injuries were of an undetermined degree and she was transported to the LKH Feldbach. A total of three fire departments were deployed to rescue the badly damaged vehicle. Another incident occurred in Wies in the Deutschlandsberg district, where a 17-year-old driver overlooked a 58-year-old driver while turning from a side street onto the B76, resulting in a collision. The 58-year-old was then taken to hospital with injuries of an unspecified degree, while the young driver and his 15-year-old passenger were uninjured.
