Police Hofheim donates to children's hospice: warm support before Christmas
in Hofheim am Main it was a special Christmas moment when the Hofheim police station handed over a symbolic check of 400 euros to the children's hospice of the Bärenherz Foundation Wiesbaden. Carina Lerch, the head of the Main Taunus police department, presented the check representative for her colleagues, who were involved in a joint fundraiser. The campaign was launched by the police officer Simone Sieger and was based on collecting deposit bottles. In addition to the financial contribution, homemade cookies and toys were also handed over, who were gratefully accepted in a warm framework by Petra Tölle, a representative of the foundation. This initiative was received very positively, since the hospice is at the side of seriously ill children and their families, as both the Police Hessen as well as News.de Report.
The police officer Simone Sieger thanked all colleagues who had contributed to their empty cans and bottles to the collective box. Claudia Wehnert and Daniel Kluge, also an employee of the Hofheim police station, have agreed to continue this fundraising campaign and hope for a great support from the workforce. This campaign is not only characterized by its social responsibility, but also expresses the team feeling within the Hofheim police. In addition to the fundraising campaign, the Bärenherz Foundation offers comprehensive care offers for affected families.
