Brazen accident escape in Tiefenthal: Driver flees after crash!

An incredibly brazen incident occurred on Wednesday in Tiefenthal when a 55-year-old woman was driving her VW T-Roc at around 3:20 p.m. According to police investigations, a collision occurred when a white Golf rammed her from behind while she had to stop due to oncoming vehicles. Instead of stopping to assess the damage, the driver of the Golf simply fled the scene. The material damage to the T-Roc amounts to around 3,000 euros. The police in Grünstadt are asking the public for information about this incident, as the Golf is now likely to have clearly visible damage to the front bumper. Information can be reported by calling 06359 93120 or by email to pigruenstadt@polizei.rlp.de rheinpfalz.de reported.

Burglar on the run!

Also in Grünstadt, an alarming break-in occurred in a single-family home on Uhlandstrasse, which at the same time frightened the residents. On December 12th, around 4:40 p.m., the police were informed by a homeowner who, when returning, unexpectedly encountered three male perpetrators wearing dark clothing. They hastily tried to break into the house through a levered patio door. When the disturbance occurred, the burglars fled in an easterly direction. However, a large-scale police search launched immediately was unsuccessful and the perpetrators remained untraceable. According to initial information, they stole a valuable wristwatch and a small amount of cash. The exact damage is still unclear. The criminal police have already started the investigation and the public is also being asked for information.
