Three men caught after perfume thefts in Bruck an der Mur!

In recent weeks there have been a series of thefts in the drugstores in Bruck an der Mur and Kindberg, which have now been solved by the police. A total of four perfume thefts were committed between January 30th and February 8th, although in some cases the perpetrators were simply trying to obtain stolen goods. The investigation received crucial information from a photo that a drugstore employee took of the murder vehicle. This image led officers to a car that was noticed on February 13th ORF Styria reported.

The police wanted to check the suspicious vehicle, but the occupants, a 22-year-old and his 29-year-old passenger, fled on foot. While the passenger was quickly caught, the driver initially fled. It wasn't until two days later, at his mother's place of residence, that the 22-year-old was finally arrested. During the search, the officers not only found a small amount of drugs, but the man also confessed to his involvement in three completed and two attempted thefts My district reported.

Cooperation between the suspects

During the course of the investigation, another suspect was identified: a 21-year-old who is also said to be involved in the thefts and provided the stolen license plates used in the crimes. Foreign license plates were also found on him. All three men – 21, 22 and 29 years old – are now the focus of the investigation and have been reported. What is particularly explosive is that the 22-year-old was also driving without a valid driving license and evaded two police checks by fleeing.
