In the past few weeks, the drugstores of Bruck an der Mur and Kindberg have occurred a series of thefts, which were now informed by the police. Between January 30 and February 8, a total of four thefts were carried out by perfumes, in some cases the perpetrators only tried to achieve thieves. The investigation received decisive information from a photo that an employee of a drugstore had made of the crime vehicle. This picture led the officials to a car that noticed on February 13th, as Orf Styria reported.

The police wanted to check the suspicious vehicle, but the occupants, a 22-year-old and his 29-year-old passenger, fled on foot. While the passenger could be caught quickly, the driver initially stayed on the run. The 22-year-old was finally arrested two days later, at the place of residence of his mother. During the search, the officials not only found a smaller amount of addictive substances, but also the man also confessed to three accomplished and two attempted thefts, such as District reported.

In the course of the investigation, another suspect was identified: a 21-year-old who is also said to be involved in the thefts and provided the stolen characteristics used for the deeds. Foreign license plates were also found. All three men - 21, 22 and 29 years old - are now the focus of the investigation and have been reported. It is particularly explosive that the 22-year-old was also on the road without valid steering authorization and has escaped two police controls through his escape.
