Dramatic incident in Wels: firearms and chase at night!

A dramatic incident caused excitement on Sunday, December 8, 2024, on Eferdinger Strasse in Wels. Two North Macedonian citizens, 26 and 23 years old, are said to have threatened two Romanian men aged 43 and 36 on open street. It happened at around 0:35 a.m. when the Romanians suddenly were confronted by the two Nordmacedonians and panicked with their car, convinced that a monetary claim was in the room, such as Situation, one of them gave a shot, luckily without injuries. The police were able to quickly intervene thanks to the license plate of the suspects. The two men were arrested by a special unit. The 26-year-old confessed that they actually had weapons, a gas pistol and a soft gun, emphasized that they were not directed against the Romanians and that no money claims were made. After consultation with the Wels public prosecutor's office, the two were transferred to the Wels judiciary, such as police.gv.at reported.
