History (s) from Parliament: Memories of former MPs

The new podcast series "History (s) from Parliament" offers an entertaining insight into the history of parliament. In this series, personal memories of former Member of the National Council, members of the Federal Council, the club and the parliamentary directorate are shared. The episodes revolve around amusing speeches, witty speeches, changes and innovations as well as funny anecdotes from parliament. The goal is to tell the lows and great moments of parliamentarianism up close.

The well -known cabaret artist and actor Clemens Haipl. Haippl was born in Vienna in 1969 and began his career in the media as a ferial intern at ORF in the early 1990s. Since then he has worked as a media designer, actor, cabaret artist, moderator, TV and music producer and author. He is also known for the program "Project X" on the FM4 radio station.

The first episode of the Podcast series "History (N) from Parliament" will be published on November 1, 2024. From then on, new episodes will be available every two weeks on the Parliament website and on all common podcast platforms.

The series is aimed at everyone who is interested in history and democracy and offers a unique insight into the history of parliament. Due to the personal memories of the former politicians and employees of the parliament, the stories come to life and give the listener a new perspective on parliamentarianism.
