Katharina Kacerovsky-Strobl, the organizer of the Vienna Pride, emphasizes: "Vienna Pride is not a mere series of events. The Pride Village on Rathausplatz will also accommodate a large part of the celebrations this year, while the rainbow parade on June 14, 2025 will be the highlight of the festival. The Vienna Pride Conference will also take place in the Vienna City Hall on June 6th, where important topics related to the LGBTIQ rights are discussed. supported by the commitment of around 200 volunteers.

Another highlight is the rainbow parade, which will attract thousands of people on June 8, 2024, the 28th time. The parade, as a unreserved public demonstration, will offer people a platform to campaign for the rights, acceptance and respect of the LGBTIQ+community. The meeting point is on Rathausplatz from 9:30 a.m. with the official start of the parade at 12 p.m. The parademarsch leads along the Ringstrasse, past parliament and the opera, and ends again at Rathausplatz. Participation in the parade does not require prior registration, but if you want to officially take part or want to drive your own car, you have to register from April 2, 2024.
