Rooftop in Vienna: Residential high-rise 'Grünblick' characterizes Quarter Two

In Vienna, the district of Quarter Two is being enriched by an exciting new project: the residential high-rise “Grünblick” recently reached the roof level, a significant success for the developers. Together with the renowned construction company Strabag, Value One, the developer of the district, celebrated this progress. Completion of the ultra-modern 90 meter high building is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.

With a total of 29 floors and 340 apartments, “Grünblick” will be an important part of the urban living space in Vienna. This residential complex will not only offer modern living space, but also various amenities such as a kindergarten and local amenities to meet the needs of future residents. One of the highlights will be the rooftop pool, which will offer a place of relaxation and recreation with its breathtaking view over the Vienna skyline.

Innovative architecture and sustainable energy use

The building is characterized by its exceptional architecture, especially the impressive balconies, which ensure that “Green View” has a striking appearance. Modern formwork techniques were used to create the balconies in order to successfully overcome the structural challenge. When it comes to temperature control, “Grünblick” relies on innovative component activation, in which pipes in the concrete ensure sustainable cooling and heat, while underfloor heating heats the building efficiently.

Another crucial aspect of the project is the use of local and renewable energy sources. The heating and temperature control supply is emission-free and uses scientifically based on-site resources, including geothermal probes and photovoltaic systems. The effective use of energy is being developed in collaboration with Beyond Carbon Energy and is intended to ensure that as much energy as possible is generated and consumed locally.

“The Grünblick residential high-rise is another pioneering project in the Zwei district, which is characterized by its sustainable construction and the variety of living and leisure options,” explains Andreas Köttl, managing director of the project company. His statements reflect the ambitions that characterize the Zwei district: the perfect combination of urban living with nature and leisure activities.

Markus Engerth from Strabag, one of the key points in this major project, emphasizes that “Grünblick” not only follows an innovative, sustainable approach, but also creates urgently needed living space in an urban environment. The combined focus on architecture and environmental friendliness ensures that this project meets the upcoming housing demand.

Overall, the “Green View” project illustrates the vision of creating a livable and sustainable urban district that is expected to continue to grow in the coming years. For more information, see the article by immobilien-redaktion.com.
