Horrific scenes unfolded in idyllic Tyrol on March 15, 2025, when a 31-year-old Austrian was accused of cutting off the head of one of his goats. This brutal act occurred around 3:45 p.m. in a garden in Ebbs, Kufstein district. After this shocking incident, the man fled in an unknown direction in a car that also contained three other goats. The police were immediately alerted by a relative and initiated extensive searches, which were successful the next day, but only for a short time. The officers were able to arrest the suspect in the Lesachtal, but while he was being examined in the Kufstein hospital, he managed to escape through an open window.
The police continued their search for the fugitive man and were finally able to arrest him again on March 17th at 10:30 a.m. in the city of Kufstein. When they searched his apartment, the officers not only found around 1.8 kilograms of cannabis, but also several weapons, even though the man was banned from carrying weapons.
