Colorful emotions and fine humor: art exhibition in Wörgl until October 6th
Fascinating works of art by the two talented artists Wilhelm Lientscher and Adi Haaser can be seen in the gallery on the town square in Wörgl until Sunday, October 6, 2024. The exhibition was opened by Mayor Michael Riedhart on October 4, 2024 and attracted numerous art lovers and interested parties. The city gallery was well filled for the vernissage.
Wilhelm Lientscher, born in Innsbruck in 1955, is an experienced painter who completed his training in pastel painting under the guidance of Prof. Siegfried N. Amerstorfer. His works are characterized by deep colors and emotional themes. In his current exhibition, Lientscher addresses femininity and complements this with abstract motifs and landscapes. He said that for him art was more than just the visible image; it includes “stored energies, emotions and life experiences” that can also resonate with the viewer.
Artistic diversity and humor
In contrast, Adi Haaser expresses his creativity in a playful way. The trained graphic designer and owner of the advertising agency Haaser & Haaser has already made a name for himself in the Wörgl art scene. With fine black and white lines and a touch of humor, his drawings often conjure up a smile on the faces of viewers. Haaser was inspired by meeting little Hannah at a wedding, which led him to his exhibition motto “Young Farmers’ Women”.
During the opening, Mayor Michael Riedhart spoke about his many years of acquaintance with both artists. He remembered a controversial work by Lientscher at the state music school, which was the first work of art he acquired for the city office and which briefly caused confusion because its dimensions did not fit into the intended rooms. Cultural advisor Sebastian Feiersinger is currently looking for a new exhibition location for the work.
The vernissage attracted numerous guests, including artists, club members and prominent figures in Wörgl politics, such as former mayor Hedi Wechner and local councilor Andreas Deutsch. The next exhibition, organized by the Polylog association under the theme “Agriculture and Art”, will be shown in the same gallery from November 15, 2024 to January 11, 2025.
Lientscher and Haaser's exhibition can be visited on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A unique experience for all art lovers in Wörgl!
