Education and work: Anniversary fair in Feldbach inspires visitors

The 10th trade fair for education and work was recently opened in Feldbach, an important event that took place on October 3 and 4 in the Arena Feldbach. This fair offers a platform to bring together students, parents and companies and to inform about opportunities in training and professional world. It is absolutely noteworthy that the fair will move to Bad Radkersburg on October 17, which gives participants the opportunity to find out more about various training offers there.

In the arena, 57 apprenticeships, 18 schools and 15 consulting facilities presented themselves, which presented their offers at the stands. The fair is not only important for students, but also for parents who are looking for orientation for their children. Visitors had the opportunity to speak directly to representatives of the companies and schools and get information first -hand. A look at the anniversary celebration

The opening of the fair was also taken as an opportunity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this important event. As part of a festive act, a award ceremony took place, in which the winners of an art competition on the subject of career orientation were awarded. Julia Baumann won first place and was followed by Laura Strohmaier and Hannah Hirschmann in second place. Cornelia Pendl took third place. This competition not only promotes the creativity of the students, but also sensitizes them to the topics of career finding and orientation.

The support from the pupils of the Schloss Stein technical school, which served an impressive giant birthday cake to celebrate the anniversary, was particularly gratifying. The official opening on the first day of the fair attracted many prominent guests, including LAbg. Franz Fartek, Member of the National Council Agnes Totter as well as several members of the state parliament and mayor from the region. Representatives of AMS, the qualification agency and schools were also on site, which shows how important the networking of all participants is for the professional orientation of young people.
