Fire Brigade Ranten celebrates the start of construction of the new armory

It was an important day for the municipality of Ranten when the old fire brigade no longer fulfilled their requirements. The fire brigade association already recognized in 2019 that the armory built in the 1960s urgently had to be replaced. After many discussions, not only in your own command, but also with the construction committee of the municipality as well as various fire brigade associations and the state of Styria, the decision for a new building was finally made.

The progress is obvious: the groundbreaking ceremony took place last summer, and a lot has happened since then. The new building is intended to do justice to the modern standards of the fire brigade and offer space for the necessary equipment and training rooms. The local fire brigade plays a central role in the community life of Ranten and is dependent on the new space to pursue their important work.

an important project for the community

The decision for a new building was considered both politically and practically as progressive by the community. Cooperation between the various institutions shows how important it is to recognize local needs and find solutions together. One hopes not only to improve working conditions for the fire brigade members, but also a stronger bond within the community through training offers and events in the new building.

The fire brigade has a long tradition in Ranten and is known for its operational readiness. The new building is therefore not only a structural project, but also a sign of the appreciation of the fire brigade and its work in the village. The focus here is clearly on improving the security of the citizens and the equipment of the emergency services. Ranten can look forward to a better future in which the fire brigade can react better to emergencies and at the same time create space for community activities.

is also important to have good communication between the various organizations involved in the project. The integration of the state of Styria in particular shows the commitment and support at a higher level. This shows that Ranten is determined to modernize the infrastructure for the fire brigade and ensure that the fire brigade will continue to have a place where it can gather and train.

The structural measures will continue in the coming months, and the municipality already expects completion with anticipation. If everything goes according to plan, the construction of the fire brigade will be completed in the near future and the location will be an important point of contact for the population.
