Insolvency proceedings for Tactix Sports in Liezen: 1.6 million euros in debt
In Liezen, the company Tactix Sports, which was only founded at the beginning of 2024, has filed for bankruptcy proceedings at the Leoben regional court. The news of the bankruptcy filing was announced on October 30, 2024 and affects both the company's 45 employees and 62 creditors. This is actually the successor company to the insolvent geomix AG.
Tactix Sports specializes in developing software apps and selling team sports merchandise, particularly for football clubs. According to the Alpine Creditors Association (AKV), the financial difficulties are partly due to unclear legal situations regarding a possible transfer of operations. This uncertainty led, among other things, to investors not being able to get involved and to insolvency.
Details of the financial situation
The company's liabilities amount to around 1.635 million euros, while the assets, calculated at book values, amount to around 1.325 million euros. However, this figure is significantly reduced by frustrated payments to geomix AG, so that the adjusted assets fall to just 315,000 euros. A devaluation of liquidation values is also expected, which is likely to further deteriorate the actual asset situation.
In addition to Tactix Sports' financial turmoil, the assets of its owning company, Tazan GmbH, are also in bankruptcy. This means that the closure and liquidation of Tactix Sports is inevitable as part of the insolvency proceedings. There are no plans to continue the company.
These developments raise worrying questions about the stability of subsequent companies, particularly with regard to the legal and financial issues that arose during the most recent bankruptcy. Further details about the current case are in an article on www.5min.at to read.
