Successful premiere: ASKÖ Leibnitz shines at the Alpe Adria Cup

There was an exciting atmosphere recently in the Koralmhalle Deutschlandsberg, where the International Alpe Adria Cup 2024 took place. This event was part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the Deutschlandsberg Kickboxing Club. Participants from different countries and clubs gathered to showcase their kickboxing skills, and the ASKÖ Leibnitz kickboxing club competed with an impressive youth team.

A total of 200 athletes from 19 different clubs from three nations competed for medals and glory. It was the first time for many of the young Leibnitz kickboxers that they took part in such a competition. Each of them had the opportunity to demonstrate their talents in front of a large audience.

The athletes from Leibnitz particularly stood out. Lars Zimmermann, who is an experienced fighter in the team, competed in the U16 (-42 kg) age group. In the U19 category, Lukas Mußbacher (-63 kg) and Franz pumpkinch (-84 kg) also impressed with strong performances and secured second place each. In addition, Isabel Kupsa in the U13 (-37 kg) and Emanuel Antunovic (U19: -74 kg) also achieved excellent places.
