The Alpine FIS Ski World Championships in Saalbach 2025 will ensure lively activity throughout Austria! Thanks to the great initiative of Gewista, the leading provider of out-of-home marketing, viewers now have the opportunity to watch the exciting competitions not only on television, but also live in popular locations such as shopping centers and subway stations. With the support of ORF and A1, an innovation was brought to life that is changing the viewing experience in a revolutionary way.
The transmissions take place in real time via 86 digital screens in the largest shopping centers in the country, including the Westfield Shopping City Süd, Westfield Donau Zentrum and the Shopping City Seiersberg in Graz. This measure enables up to 60 million visitors to experience the competitions up close every year. Florian Wagner, Chief Digital Officer at Gewista, emphasizes that this new form of live broadcast enriches the shopping experience and allows consumers to enjoy the excitement of sport while shopping.
