Shock on the L 99: Quad drivers seriously injured after an accident at Köttmannsdorf!

Köttmannsdorf, Österreich - On Thursday afternoon there was a serious traffic accident on Köttmannsdorfer Straße (L 99). A 67-year-old man from the Klagenfurt-Land district was traveling with his quad towards Lambichl at around 3:41 p.m. when he got off the road in the field of trabesing for a previously unknown cause. The right front wheel of the quad came onto an increasing guiding rail, which led to the vehicle tipped over and the driver was thrown onto the street.

The quad then rolled onto the oncoming lane and collided with the car of a 41-year-old woman from Klagenfurt. The 67-year-old suffered serious injuries and was brought to the Klagenfurt Clinic with an emergency doctor helicopter. The Köttmannsdorf volunteer fire brigade was on duty to secure the scene of the accident and provide support. Such serious accidents illustrate the dangers in road traffic that affect numerous people every year.
