Franz Voithofer junior joined the family business in 1979 and took over management together with his wife Angelika in 1999. In its best years, Voithofer Transporte had a fleet of 20 trucks and was valued in Pinzgau, Pongau and East Tyrol for delivering goods on time and safely and for handling transport orders as one of the three freight forwarders at Botenzentrale Salzburg.

The official closure is announced for November 30, 2024 and will occur with the retirement of Franz Voithofer.
