Sustainable new building of the gymnasium in Dorfbeuern without consumption of precious land
New gym in Dorfbeuern comes from
without a new grasslandIn Dorfbeuern, the municipality plans to build a new gym, which is to be used by the children and young people in the coming school year. The construction project is characterized by a sustainable handling of land - no square meter of precious resource is used.
The shell of the gym should be completed by the end of the year. A special feature of the project is the avoidance of the consumption of grassland. Instead, the hall is created on already sealed soil. In this way, valuable arable soil remains.
This innovative and sustainable spatial planning also attracted the attention of deputy governor Stefan Schnöll and State Councilor Martin Zauner. Together with Mayor Adi Hinterhauser, you gained an impression of the progress of the work on site.
The municipality of Dorfbeuern is investing around five million euros in the new building of the gym as well as the renovation of the sanitary rooms and the community library in the elementary school. For the majority of the work, the municipal equalization fund (GAF) from the department of governor Stefan Schnöll was used. The GAF specifically supports the modernization of the on -site infrastructure and was able to fund the construction of the gym.
The new building of the gym in Dorfbeuern is an exemplary spatial planning project. Due to the use of already sealed areas, precious grassland remains unaffected. This shows how creative and effectively Salzburg's communities can be in spatial planning. The country therefore supports the places in the village and urban development.
Mayor Adi Hinterhauser is very satisfied with the project. The planning and execution of the new building took around four years. The innovative architecture firm "Dunkel Schwarz" had submitted the right proposal to the architectural competition. The idea of laying the gym for about four meters underground to maintain the grassland was convinced. The new hall is not only used by the children and adolescents, but also by clubs in the place. Thanks to the promotion of the GAF by deputy governor Stefan Schnöll, the project was successfully implemented.
In addition to the use of the elementary school students, the municipality has already agreed to cooperate with the monastery's private middle school. The movement lessons will take place there on free afternoons. In addition, the new hall is also available for events of clubs.
The new gymnasium in Dorfbeuern is a pioneering project that relies on sustainable spatial planning and protects valuable grassland. The municipality is investing in the future of the children and at the same time creating a place for encounters and events.
