Membership is growing: Steyrtal Business meets for a Christmas card

STEINBACH AN DER STEYR. The Steyrtal Business Association recently held a member meeting at which exciting news and important results were presented. In the cozy atmosphere of the traditional Kienauer inn, the participants were not only able to exchange information, but also enjoy a hearty dumpling meal. The meeting showed how vibrant and committed the community is, which now has 134 members.

Chairman Karl Schwarz, who also runs the Harmonika-Manufaktur Schwarz GmbH, emphasized that such meetings are essential components for the success of the association. “The focus here is on the exchange of information and experiences,” explained Schwarz, emphasizing the importance of the network among the members.

Member survey results

A central topic of the meeting was the presentation of the results of a current member survey. This showed that the “Wirtschaft Steyrtal” association is well anchored in the region. The members particularly value the club's events and website. A frequently mentioned wish from the survey was to offer more lectures on advertising and marketing. “We took up the suggestion immediately,” said Schwarz and handed over the floor to Markus Moser, managing director of the digital and advertising agency Plappermaul from Waldneukirchen. In his talk, they talked about innovative marketing strategies that help companies remain successful even in difficult times and offered practical tips that can be implemented immediately.

Presentation of the Steyrtal Christmas card

Another highlight of the evening was the presentation of this year's Steyrtal Christmas card. This initiative by the Steyrtal Lions Club aims to focus on local artists and their works. The new Christmas card was designed by long-time member Martina Sturm and shows the “Pernzell Cathedral” in a wintry setting. Not only do these cards make a lovely gift, but they also support the local art scene.

But the club is not only active in the present, the coming year also has a lot to offer. WKO district office manager Siegfried Pramhas opened the evening by announcing an intensive year 2024 for the association's members. “We have a successful external appearance and many volunteer hours ahead of us, as well as valuable impulses for the campaign to buy Christmas presents in the region,” he explained, and happy work was optimistically promised. The dynamics within the association promise to launch interesting projects and activities next year. Information about further developments will certainly follow, with a clear view of cohesion and the promotion of the economy in the Steyrtal.
