First presentation: Christmas magic in Ried with Krautgartner's new book
A special event is coming up in Ried: On Friday, November 15th, the first presentation of Monika Krautgartner's new Christmas book will take place at 7 p.m. The event takes place in the Raiffeisenbank Ried, and this is an ideal opportunity for everyone who wants a contemplative evening with literary and musical performances.
Doris Dim-Knoglinger from the Dim bookstore emphasizes that it is a real Advent highlight. In addition to the readings from the book, guests can also expect a premiere of a play performed by the theater class at Schildorn Elementary School. Andrea Dim, who takes over the direction, promises an entertaining performance. The duo LuLo, consisting of Luisa Knoglinger and Lorena Ammerer, who play with guitar and dulcimer, will provide musical entertainment.
A look at “Angels and Miracles”
The new book is entitled “Angels and Miracles” and was published by Trauner-Verlag. In her texts, the author describes the Christmas season with all its splendor and deep human hopes. "It's a time when everything is possible. Not just for children," explains Krautgartner. She responds to the often traditional aspects of the holiday with a message that brings the longing for the miracle of Christmas to the fore.
“We mostly spend Christmas traditionally and do things because they are part of it. But the longing for the miracle of Christmas is omnipresent,” the author continues. The idea that angels could help everything work out is a comfort to many people at this particularly beautiful time of year.
