Career Experience Days: Discover career opportunities in Ried on November 22nd & 23rd
The Career Experience Days are on the program in Ried on November 22nd and 23rd, an important event for everyone who would like to find out about training and career opportunities. On this occasion, numerous companies and educational institutions will present their offers and give young people the chance to get to know different professional fields better.
In the Energie Ried Hall 18, 75 exhibitors will be on site in an impressive area of 2,200 square meters, including not only regional companies, but also schools and institutions such as the Employment Service (AMS) and the Chamber of Commerce (WKO). There are a total of 62 different apprenticeships to choose from, and the commercial exhibitors offer 470 open apprenticeship positions as well as 400 opportunities for holiday and internship positions. This is an excellent opportunity for young people to connect directly with potential training centers.
Offers and activities
The event not only offers information about the available careers. A varied supporting program is also offered, which includes various activities. Those interested can look forward to exciting challenges: from a virtual reality (VR) experience for operating robots to a magnificent Formula 1 racing simulator and a sewing machine challenge. These interactive stations are intended to help you discover talents and try out careers in practice.
Josef Heißbauer, chairman of the WKO Ried, emphasizes: “If you want, you can test your inclinations and talents directly on site.” Another highlight is the competition at the Scheuch Group trade fair stand, which will guide visitors through the world of technology and craftsmanship. More about this and other exhibitors such as Wintersteiger Holding AG and Fischerleitner GmbH will be announced at the press conference on November 5th. Visitors can look forward to a fascinating journey of discovery.
