A very special festival recently took place in Nussbach: nine couples celebrated their golden wedding anniversaries together. On a sunny autumn day, the jubilee pairs gathered in the parish church to commit this significant occasion with family, friends and representatives of public life.
The celebrations began with a festive service led by Father Gabriel. The Karlhuber family, who underlined the solemn atmosphere with their sounds, provided the background music. Following the service, the ceremony was waiting, in which Mayor Gerhard Gebeshuber from the ÖVP and Anita Zaunmayr, the chairwoman of the cultural committee, presented the couples of the state of Upper Austria. These documents stand for the appreciation and recognition of long -term relationships. In addition, the couples received lovingly bound bouquets of flowers as a sign of appreciation.
Solemn activities and conviviality
After the official part, a tour of Nussbach was on the program. A classic car bus that aroused nostalgic memories brought the jubilee pairs along the picturesque streets of the village. The aim of this tour was the Gasthaus Gastnuss Schmied’n, where the participants continued the celebrations in a delicious meal, followed by coffee and cake, in a relaxed atmosphere. A lot was laughed, told and exchanged memories of times and experiences together.
Such anniversaries are not only a celebration of love, but also a significant moment to appreciate the strength and durability of marriage.
