Gmunden Apprenticeship Fair: Experience career opportunities directly on October 15th & 16th
The Labor Market Service (AMS) Gmunden has once again invited people to the popular apprentice fair this year, which is now taking place for the 12th time. Leopold Tremmel, the head of the AMS Gmunden, emphasizes how important this event is for the region. "We are pleased that we can hold our apprentice fair again this year. It offers an excellent platform for young people," he says.
On Tuesday, October 15th and Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, young people and their parents will have the opportunity to get to know more than 40 local companies. The trade fair opens its doors on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here, visitors can exchange ideas directly with experts and company representatives who offer them insights into possible careers and training opportunities.
Interactive conversations and information opportunities
Particularly noteworthy is the evening session on Tuesday, which is specifically intended for parents and young people. This makes it possible to obtain information about various vocational training courses in an informal setting. Leopold Tremmel emphasizes: "We want young people to know what diverse options are available to them. The day on Wednesday, however, is reserved for school classes in order to enable students to receive targeted information."
The apprentice fair is not only an opportunity to speak to practitioners from the companies, but also offers valuable information for career orientation. Various fields of activity are presented so that the young people can identify the training positions that are right for them.
