This demanding race was made up of two parts: the fortress trail was 13 kilometers with an elevation gain of 480 meters, while the Gaisberg trail was 24 kilometers with an elevation gain of around 1,344 meters.

Falkner shared his impressions as soon as he crossed the finish line. "Great panorama, but a very strenuous, hard run. What was really pleasing for me, however, was that I was able to achieve my goal of staying under four hours in total," he said after the competition.
