Stadttheater Wiener Neustadt celebrates its reopening with a huge crowd
After extensive renovation work, the city theater in Wiener Neustadt has reopened its doors. Two open days were organized over the opening weekends, generating overwhelming interest. Even before the doors opened, long queues formed in the pedestrian zone and the enthusiasm of the visitors was palpable.
During the open days, a diverse program was offered that was aimed at young and old. Performances by artists, including Christiana Uikiza & Band and Albert O. Mair, provided highlights in the various rooms of the theater, such as the theater hall and the Bösendorfer salon. Visitors were also able to take part in meet & greets and stage discussions.
Guided tours and insights behind the scenes
One of the most popular attractions was the tour of the theater. These tours allowed guests to not only explore the publicly accessible areas, but also take a look behind the scenes. The visitors had the rare opportunity to experience the backstage area and the artists' dressing rooms up close, which amazed many. Maria Großbauer, the operational manager of the theater, spoke of the fantastic enthusiasm of the visitors and was pleased about the positive response to the newly designed theater.
For the younger guests there were offers such as an exciting puzzle rally, which enabled them to explore the theater in a playful way. They were also able to take part in a sing-along musical with Gernot Kranner and enjoy the Music Mobile of the Tonkunstler Orchestra of Lower Austria. In the ticket office, a wheel of fortune with lots of great prizes was waiting for the little visitors.
Outlook on upcoming events
Another highlight was the presentation of the future program, which already generated great anticipation for upcoming performances. Due to the high demand for guided tours, the theater will offer permanent places for them in the program in the future. Further information is provided on the official website of the city theater.
The feedback from visitors shows that the Stadttheater Wiener Neustadt is an important cultural attraction for the region and that the events will continue to be well attended in the future. More details on the latest developments in the city theater can be found in a detailed report on www.wn24.at.
