Scheibbs remains a labor market stronghold: only 2.9% unemployment!

In the Scheibbs district, the labor market shows remarkable resilience despite economic uncertainty. With an unemployment rate of just 2.9 percent, the region is still one of the best in the state of Lower Austria. Peter Müllner, the managing director of the employment service, informs that although unemployment has increased compared to the previous year, the region is still in the top three with the lowest unemployment rate.

This positive development is remarkable, especially given the general economic weakness and the associated increase in unemployment. The number of unemployed people in Scheibbs is 12 percent higher than last year, but the district remains in a good light.

Increasing number of vacancies

Another plus point is the increased number of vacancies. There was an increase compared to the previous year, which means that Berlin's workforce can be better prepared for the job search. There are currently 512 vacancies available, which represents an increase of around 10 percent. This is encouraging for the 528 people looking for work in the region.

"It is important to emphasize that we can offer every customer a suitable position. If a direct job is not possible, we offer qualification measures," explains Müllner. This strategy has resulted in over 5,500 job offers being made so far this year.

The dynamics in the labor market are therefore actively used. This not only gives hope to job seekers, but also shows that the AMS in Scheibbs strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Prudent qualification measures

In addition to the job offers, the AMS has launched several training programs to best prepare the unemployed for the job market. So far, 212 people have taken part in these training courses. These measures are crucial to equipping people in the region with the skills needed in today's world of work.

"Our goal is to ensure that no one is left behind. With our commitment, we have already helped many people find new jobs," emphasizes Peter Müllner.

Overall, the labor market in Scheibbs remains dynamic and shows that despite challenges in economic strength, the region has both commitment and solutions to promote employment. While some regions are suffering from higher unemployment rates, Scheibbs is firmly on the ground and actively working to offer job seekers a perspective.
