Theresa Frühwirth: Mistelbach's success story in sports shooting

Mistelbach:The Schützenverein-Mistelbach is happy about a large number of members, including the talented Theresa Frühwirth. This 26-year-old sports shooter has made an excellent name in recent years, especially in the disciplines of clay pigeon and combination shooting. Her passion for shooting has not only been inspired by her previous success, but also by her personal commitment in the club.

Theresa is not only an outstanding shooter, but also an important support in the club. She has actively introduced herself as a shooter and instructor and contributes to forming the next generations of shooters. Chairman Josef Kohzina emphasizes how valuable Theresa's contribution is: "It is a reliable force on the board of our club."

Success in 2024

In 2024 Theresa set standards again. She took part in various national and international competitions and achieved impressive results. The outstanding services this year include:

• Pfingstturnier in Mistelbach im Mai – 1. Platz in der Damenwertung.
• Bezirksmeisterschaft in Mistelbach im Juni – 1. Platz in der Damenwertung und somit Bezirksmeisterin.
• NÖ Landesmeisterschaft im Kombinationsschießen in Wr. Neustadt im Juni – 1. Platz in der Damenwertung und Landesmeisterin.
• Österreichische Meisterschaft Compak Sporting in Hollabrunn im August – 1. Platz in der Damenwertung und neue Österreichische Meisterin.
• NÖ Landesmeisterschaft Parcours-Schießen in Wr. Neustadt im September – 1. Platz in der Damenwertung.
• Weltmeisterschaft Compak Sporting in Ungarn im August – Platzierung im Mittelfeld unter 600 Teilnehmern.

In addition, she was able to take first place with her team at the Hegering team championship, together with her father Erich, her uncle Christian, partner Rainer and Samuel Nemec. Her brother Michael also belongs to the team.
