Fest Gosh! Art 2025: Music, cabaret and language in the Wolkersdorf district
The Gosh! Art Festival, known for his creative celebration of dialect music, will take place in a new, exciting framework in 2025. For the first time, the festival will be held in the Wolkersdorf district from April 3 to April 6th - a fresh event location that brings a breath of fresh air to the event.
In a total of four days, a rich program will be offered that includes a successful mix of music, cabaret and readings. The first festival day starts with the talented chanson artists Willi Landl and Michael Hornek, who already enjoy a good reputation. A highlight of the opening day will be the first solo barbaret by Dirk Stermann, which will appear with the title "Broock". The day is rounded off by Yasmo & the sound canteen, which are inspired with their unique style of hip-hop, jazz and radio.
diverse program for all tastes
The second day of the festival offers the cartoon cabaret by Jürgen Marschal and his partner Lisa Semrad, which offers humorous insights into everyday life. This is followed by Andreas Vitasek with his “Spätles” program, on which Hildegard Knef's music, performed by Madleine Joel and the Hildeguards, should not be missing. This promises to become an evening full of nostalgic sounds and profound texts.
The third festival day draws attention to itself with the appearance of the low life Rich Kids, which set a special accent with an explosive mix of post-punk and new German wave. The cabaret duo Maschek will also present its anniversary program that day and will certainly captivate the spectators with a lot of joke. There is another highlight for fans of the Austropop: Austrofred and Kurt Razelli will appear with their "high-performance exhibition" and pack the audience with their energy.
The festival culminates on the last day, where the Maria Ma Terzett feat. Ulli Bäer represents a homage to Georg Danzer. The local hero Martin Neid, who introduces his new book, and the Weinviertler Martin "Motz" Berger, who has found a way to the international musical world, will be due to the day. With this exciting and varied mixture, the Gosh! Art is a feast for the senses that arouses joy and enthusiasm.
Under this new concept, the GOSH! Art Festival 2025 promises to become an event that attracts both local and national visitors and enriches the cultural landscape in Wolkersdorf. The combination of dialect music, cabaret and creative language will once again offer the opportunity to celebrate the diversity and talent of domestic artists. It remains to be seen how the response to these innovations will fail, as www.meinbeinbezirk.at reports .
