Festival Gosh!art 2025: Music, cabaret and language in the Wolkersdorf district

The Gosh!art festival, known for its creative celebration of dialect music, will take place in a new, exciting setting in 2025. For the first time, the festival will be held from April 3rd to 6th in the Wolkersdorf district - a fresh venue that will bring a breath of fresh air to the event.

Over a total of four days, a rich program is offered that includes a successful mix of music, cabaret and readings. The first day of the festival starts with the talented chanson artists Willi Landl and Michael Hornek, who already enjoy a good reputation. A highlight of the opening day will be Dirk Stermann's first solo cabaret entitled “Zusammenbraut”. The day is rounded off by Yasmo & die Klangkantine, who will delight you with their unique style of hip-hop, jazz and funk.

Diverse program for all tastes

The second day of the festival features the cartoon cabaret by Jürgen Marschal and his partner Lisa Semrad, which offers humorous insights into everyday life. This is followed by Andreas Vitasek with his program “Spätlese”, in which the music of Hildegard Knef, performed by Madleine Joel and the Hildeguards, cannot be missed. This promises to be an evening full of nostalgic sounds and profound lyrics.

The third day of the festival attracts attention with the performance of the Low Life Rich Kids, who set a special accent with an explosive mixture of post-punk and New German Wave. The cabaret duo Maschek will also present their anniversary program on this day and will certainly captivate the audience with a lot of humor. There is another highlight for fans of Austropop: Austrofred and Kurt Razelli will perform with their “high-performance Austropop” and will captivate the audience with their energy.

The festival reaches its climax on the last day, where the Maria Ma Terzett feat. Ulli Bäer pays homage to Georg Danzer. The local heroes Martin Neid, who is presenting his new book, and the Weinviertler Martin “Motz” Berger, who has found his way into the international musical world, will end the day in style. With this exciting and varied mix, Gosh!art is a feast for the senses that awakens joy and enthusiasm.

Under this new concept, the Gosh!art Festival 2025 promises to be an event that will attract both local and national visitors and enrich the cultural landscape in Wolkersdorf. The combination of dialect music, cabaret and creative language will once again offer the opportunity to celebrate the diversity and talent of local artists. It remains to be seen what the response to these innovations will be, as www.meinkreis.at reports.
