In this context, he appealed to all eligible voters to register in the municipality's electoral roll in a timely manner in order to increase voter turnout. “Everyone should seize the opportunity to influence the future of agriculture,” explained Zuser.

Before the election

The general meeting of the chamber took place in an open atmosphere, where the results of the past few years were presented. Numerous members were there, including President Johannes Schmuckenschlager and other prominent faces from agriculture, such as area farmer Marianne Butzenlechner and department head Gabriele Roitner-Blamauer. This committed participation demonstrates the farmers' interest in being actively involved in shaping their representation.

The elections scheduled for March 9th are seen as groundbreaking, as the newly elected chamber will decide on the concerns and challenges of farmers in the district for the next five years. The desired high voter turnout gives hope that many farmers will cast their vote and actively participate in the co-determination.
