The path of the GVU Melk

The municipal association has taken responsibility for waste disposal in the Region since its foundation in 1974. This central service not only improved waste management in Melk, but also made a significant contribution to a sustainable use of resources.

The celebrations were supplemented by a large number of speakers who illuminated the success and challenges of the past five decades. It became clear that the GVU plays an important role in the region by contributing to clean and livable communities.

The event was not only a reason to celebrate, but also offered a room for exchange about future developments in the field of environmental protection and waste disposal. Participants had the opportunity to inform themselves about innovative approaches and projects that are planning the association for the coming years. This happens against the background of growing challenges due to environmental damage and the need for effective waste management solutions.
