Reading night in the EVN power plant: Exciting experiences for Hollabrunner students
The atmosphere in the EVN thermal power plant Theiß was electrifying for the two classes of the General School of Hollabrunn. Under the direction of teacher Margarethe Renkin, the students of 1e and 2a spent an extraordinary reading night that not only included reading, but also researching and experimenting.
For many students it was the first time that they stayed outside of their familiar surroundings. The evening was filled with activities that were both instructive and entertaining. The children experimented in the so -called research workshop, where they had the opportunity to build circuits and to experience basic concepts of electrical engineering.
Diverse activities and exciting experiences
The reading night offered an interesting combination of education and fun. In addition to experimenting, the students read stories from the mascot of the power plant. This personal note made the evening even more unforgettable and at the same time promoted reading understanding. A disco took place as the highlight in which the children could dance to their favorite music, which gave them the opportunity to let off steam and create common memories.
Another highlight was the guided tour of the power plant. In this way, the students were able to experience up close how energy is generated and what technologies are used for this. This direct connection between theory and practice strengthens the understanding of the importance of sustainable energy generation.
The reading night was lovingly prepared by the teacher and shows how important extra -curricular learning forms are. Such events contribute not only to convey knowledge to the students, but also to offer personal experiences that they can shape sustainably. For many children, the memory of this night will certainly take a special place in your heart.
The campaign took place at a time when it is becoming increasingly important to promote awareness of energy efficiency and sustainable practices. The students from Hollabrunn actively deal with these topics and gained valuable experiences that go beyond the classroom. The reading night in the EVN Kühlturm will not only be remembered as fun, but also as a significant educational measure.
