Kogler's successor: Who will be the new LGA board?
The board of the Lower Austrian State Health Agency, Konrad Kogler, will leave his office in February. Its impressive responsibility for 27 hospitals and 50 nursing homes will therefore require a new leader. As the crown reported that a replacement hearing has already taken place and a possible successor has been determined. Kogler, who has been at the helm since 2019, will leave the fortunes of the LGA together with Alfred Zens, who is also not running for a new term of office. Only the new board member Elisabeth Braut seems to be an exception and could keep her position.
Succession in sight
The search for Kogler's successor has already begun. A call for applications for the vacant position has been published and will run until December 13th. The consulting firm H.I.E.C, which specializes in finding executives, is responsible for carrying out this search. The annual salary for the board position is estimated at over 300,000 euros, but official confirmation is still missing. The SPÖ state party leader Sven Hergovich also mentioned that the new board member Braut should earn around 340,000 euros, which also remains unconfirmed. Meanwhile, the average salary of the 380 employees in the LGA remains above 100,000 euros, with the agency emphasizing that the salary structure is based on the state scheme.
