Marquez celebrates new victory: dominance at the MotoGP in Hungary!
Marc Marquez won the Hungarian Grand Prix on August 24, 2025 at the newly opened Balaton Park Circuit. This victory represents Marquez's seventh consecutive triumph in MotoGP. The Ducati Lenovo Team rider achieved his tenth victory in 14 races this season in an impressive manner. With 175 points, he leads the World Cup standings, well ahead of his brother Alex.
Pedro Acosta, riding for KTM, enjoyed a strong second place finish, his best result of the season. Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi rounded out the podium, finishing third after a thrilling duel with Marquez. Other KTM riders were also represented in the top rankings: Brad Binder came seventh and Pol Espargaro eighth.
First training session and remarkable achievements
Pol Espargaro finished the first session in second place, while Pedro Acosta took third place. Luca Marini, who was driving a new chassis for Honda, followed in fourth place. Alex Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi took fifth and sixth place. Franco Morbidelli, who had two crashes, was still able to hold on in seventh place, and Enea Bastianini ended up in eighth place.

With a total of eight race weekends left this season, Marquez could secure the world title at the race after next in Misano. The impressive performance in Hungary and his current lead of 175 points over Alex Marquez puts him in an excellent position for the remaining races.
