The other car was driven by a 68-year-old man, also from the St. Veit/Glan district. The younger driver sustained unspecified injuries in the collision. He received first aid immediately after the accident and ultimately had to be taken to the Klagenfurt Clinic by the rescue team. According to reports, his condition was described as serious. In contrast, the elderly driver only suffered minor injuries and refused to seek emergency medical attention.
