A criminal duo causes excitement in Carinthia! In a supermarket in Möllbrücke, a woman left her smartphone unattended, just to determine that it was stolen shortly afterwards. But the thieves had not expected their ingenuity: with the location function of the cell phone, she tracked down the device in another supermarket in Sachsenburg. The police were alerted and arrested the perpetrator, who was already known for various thefts. He confessed to having money for food and medication. When he was arrested, a small amount of cannabis was also ensured, as reported.

The investigation showed that the suspect had already struck several times: On December 9, he had stolen a piggy bank from a shopping center in Spittal/Drau, and on December 17th he tried to steal other piggy bank from a doctor's office. The theft of an e-bike between December 6th and 7th is also charged to him. The public prosecutor ordered an advertisement against him at a clear foot, but due to foreign police reasons it remains in custody.
