TSG Hoffenheim has taken the first step into the summer transferode with the transfer of attacker Tim Lemperle from 1. FC Köln. The change was officially confirmed by Hoffenheim, with Lemperle moving free to the club. The 23-year-old had scored ten goals for Cologne last season before he hit the headlines-most recently due to a spanking scandal away from the lawn. Lemperle's transfer and Bernardo's impending commitment are part of a strategic realignment of the association. Hoffenheim had completed the last season in a disappointing 15th place. Schicker said critically at the past season and emphasized that the TSG has to develop a clear profile again to remain competitive in the Bundesliga.
