Big Easter campaign: 2000 animal shelter animals are looking for a loving home!
On March 30, 2025, Tierschutz Austria's Easter basket campaign starts its fifth year. This large-scale fundraising campaign is the largest Easter fundraising campaign for animals without homes in Austria. Over 2,000 animals housed in the Vösendorf animal shelter are waiting for a loving home.
The initiative gives a voice to animals such as the American Staffordshire terrier Mawish and the black cat Baron. Mawish is spending his tenth Easter at the shelter, while Baron is experiencing his fourth Easter there. Both animals are a powerful example of how important this action is.
Goal of the action
The main goal of the Easter basket campaign is to give the animals a loving home. Donations collected are used to provide food, medical care, equipment and employment opportunities for the animals at the shelter. Donors can look forward to an animal Easter song as a thank you for their support.
Donations are possible up to and including Easter Monday, April 21, 2025. The comprehensive campaign is also focused on animal protection and raising awareness of the concerns of animals in need.
