Outdoor pool in Ried: Closure causes anger and confusion among visitors!

in the outdoor pool of Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria, today's summer temperatures caused disappointment. Despite the warm weather, the outdoor pool was closed, which was incomprehensible to many visitors. A concerned caller expressed his frustration about the closure and the lack of information on the part of those responsible. According to the ÖVP City Councilor Josef Heißbauer, the outdoor pool was closed in the morning due to rain, but the information does not seem to have penetrated all. Heißbauer emphasized that he was initially not informed about the symptoms and had to inquire about the regulations.

A challenge for access to the outdoor pool was the use of non -personalized chips that led to abuse. These chip cards, which are available for 30 euros, should allow access, but have apparently been passed on, which endangers security and control in the outdoor pool.

changes in tariffs and opening times

The outdoor pool in Ried has recently decided new tariffs that have been in the case since May 17. In order to prevent a decline in visitor numbers, admission prices were adjusted: the individual tariff for adults increases from 4.70 euros to 4.80 euros, while the evening tariff increases from 3.30 euros to 3.40 euros. An adjustment was also made for the tariffs for children and adolescents. Children now pay 2.20 euros instead of 2.10 euros and young people as well as other groups such as seniors and apprentices now have to pay 2.80 euros instead of 2.70 euros.

The annual tickets have also become more expensive. For adults, the price increases from 63 euros to 79 euros, while annual children's cards now cost 29.20 euros instead of 28.40 euros. The introduction of a "bonus swimming" on bad weather days with the chip card and a handling flat rate of 15.50 euros ensure that the use of outdoor pools remains more attractive, even if the weather does not play along.
