Successful graduates of the ÖHV academy: the future of the hotel industry!

Ellmau, Österreich - On May 30, 2025, a ceremonial award ceremony for the new graduates found in Ellmau: inside the department head academy (aka) of the Austrian hotel association (ÖHV). 14 participants: The inside received their well -deserved certificates after they had successfully completed the intensive training program. Brigitta Brunner, head of the ÖHV campus, and Julia Pfeiffer, head of the department head academy, emphasized the commitment of the graduates: inside and the companies: Interior development.

Julia Pfeiffer emphasized the central role of trained managers for the professionalization of the hotel industry. She added that department heads: take key positions in the industry and ensure that communication and understanding between the different departments are improved. Mag. The covers of the various departments included management, kitchen, restaurant & bar, reception, event management and controlling. As part of the AKA, various content was treated that are of central importance for future managers in the hotel industry. These include:

The ÖHV has been offering further training for the hotel industry for over 25 years and creates great importance on lifelong learning, which is also supported by other educational providers such as the IST-Studieninstitut . This offers part -time further training courses that convey specialist knowledge for activities in medium and higher management and maintain a close connection to the industry.
