Urgent warning: dangerous pink plush bear threatens toddlers!

The Federal Ministry of Health and the Ages have published an important warning to all parents. They are advised to dispose of the pink plush bear, which wears a scarf and is attached to a key ring. As reports 5min.at, the suction cups of this toy can be replaced, which leads to an acute risk of suffocation for small children.

The goods affected are by the Alborz Handelsgesellschaft M.B.H. driven out that is based in Vienna. The Ages urgently warns against using the product. It is a serious security risk, since the suction cup can easily be swallowed up by small children and this can result in blocking the airways. This risk is an immediate danger to the health of small children.

Important information on the warning

The warning expressly states that it does not automatically mean a debt from the manufacturer or dealer. The Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection (BMASGPK) has issued the warning on behalf of the order to ensure the safety of children. Parents and consumers are asked to take this recommendation seriously and to dispose of the affected products in order to avoid possible dangers. Further measures could follow in the near future to increase the security in the area of toys, according to the Ages.

This warning is not alone: According to product warning.eu, there have been several calls for toy items due to similar risks in the past few months. For example, products such as the “Rubbabu” brand of the brand “Rubbabu” had to be recalled due to harmful nitrosamines, and other toys also had to show up dangers regarding small parts that could cause suffocation.

In order to ensure the security of the little ones, parents and supervisors should be particularly attentive when choosing toys and always pay attention to official warnings and recall actions. If you have any further questions, the health authorities are available to offer information and support.
