Watch out motorcyclists! Start the new season safely!
With the beginning of the motorcycle season, the Burgenland state government gives full throttle for the safety of bikers. The funded warm-up training sessions, which are already offered in 2025, are a reaction to the increasing number of accidents after the winter break. State Councilor Heinrich Dorner emphasizes that this initiative should bring the reflexes and automatisms of the motorcyclists back into scratch in order to avoid accidents. "For the state of Burgenland, traffic safety is at the top," says Dorner, pointing out that five people died in motorcycle accidents in Burgenland last year, while there were 82 fatal accidents with two -wheelers all over Austria.
The training can be carried out at the mobility clubs ARBÖ and ÖAMTC as well as in local driving schools. All-day warm-up training with 75 euros, half-day with 50 euros and individual coaching are also funded with 50 euros. The campaign runs until June 30, 2025, until then motorcycle training must be completed in order to benefit from the funding. With this targeted measure, the Burgenland government would like to increase traffic safety for all motorcyclists in the country, as well as "https://burgenland.orf.at/stories/3251914/"> burgenland.orf.at . Information on the funding campaign is available at www.burgenland.at/motorradraining.
safe return to the street
The courses are specially designed to return the necessary skills that may have decreased during the winter months. "Targeted training to refresh the driving technology is very important to ensure your own security," explains Dorner. The initiative of the traffic department aims to significantly lower the number of two -wheel accidents and to give drivers a safe feeling when they start the new season. Bikers should take the opportunity to secure the financial support for driving training and to be optimally prepared for the street.
