In St. Margarethen, a different path was taken on October 31st to celebrate the evening of October 31st. Instead of the typical Halloween festivities, six winemakers celebrated their own event called “Halloween.” The event was an invitation for wine lovers to visit the region's wineries and taste delicious local wines from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The visitors were not only able to taste the wines for a contribution of 30 euros, but also received a voucher for 15 euros to purchase their favorite wines. This gourmet event established itself as a refreshing alternative to the usual Halloween hustle and bustle and attracted many wine lovers who enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and selection of regional wines.
A celebration of conviviality in the fire station
The event didn't end after the wine tasting, as it was followed by a big after party in the fire station. The atmosphere was lively and cheerful, with various groups of revelers creating a lively atmosphere. Among the numerous guests were friends and acquaintances of the winemakers who spent the evening in good company. At this celebration you could also see Viktoria Fiedler, Angelina Denk and Anna-Katharina Piringer, who were clearly having fun.
The winemakers proudly presented their fine wines and many took the opportunity to learn more about local wine production.
