In a future -oriented step to promote sustainable logistics, Blum is investing in the expansion of his track connection at the Dornbirn location. In this context, the existing track is removed and the gravel substructure is renewed.

A particularly sustainable aspect of the project is the recycling of a large part of the gravel substructure that is to be washed and prepared. Old rails are also reused. During the construction period, container transport is temporarily handled by truck between Dornbirn and the Wolfurt terminal.
