62 Zillen crews at the Franz-Wagner commemorative competition in St. Peter!
On May 31, 2025, the 12th Franz-Wagner commemorative competition of the St. Peter on Hart volunteer fire brigade took place in the picturesque proximity of Hagenau Castle. In the best weather conditions, a total of 67 zille crews, including five youth teams, took part in this important sporting event. The competition not only put the performance of the participants in the Zillen in the foreground, but also promoted the comradeship spirit and sporting ambition among the fire brigades.
The event, which was organized by the St. Peter AM volunteer fire brigade, attracted a large number of fire brigades, including mining, Mauerkirchen and Ranshofen. meaning of the competition
The Franz-Wagner commemorative competition is more than just a sporting event; He is a sign of community and willingness to perform. The fact that this competition takes place near the historic Hagenau Castle with a building that was first mentioned in 1088 and has been extensively restored since 2001 gives the event a special setting. The castle symbolizes tradition and responsibility in the fire service and underlines the importance of such competitions for camaraderie among fire brigades.
The variety of Zillenport is also important. The increasing number of registrations of female participants, who compete in their own class and show impressive performance, deserve special mention. This makes it clear that the zilling is no longer just a male domain, but is an exciting and challenging sport for all genders.
