33 hunter candidates passed the exam in Mistelbach - congratulations!

Mistelbach, Österreich - On May 29, 2025, 33 out of 46 hunter applicants successfully passed the hunting exam in the Mistelbach district. The exam took place in the Kolpinghaus in Mistelbach under the direction of Gerhard Wimmer, with the presence of Oberförster Wolfgang Rauscher. The test subjects had previously participated in a course for obtaining the first hunting card and a practical shooting training at the Mistelbach shooting club.

The successful test subjects include Sebastian Bauer, Sascha Huber, Johann Hofmeister, Andreas Bachmayer, Richard Müller, Franziska Schuster, Maximilian Krammer and Luca Baumgartner. The non -passed participants have to repeat the exam in autumn to acquire their hunter licenses. Noen reports that the event is an important step for the new hunters who can now prepare for hunting practice.

As part of a general assembly of the Mistelbach hunting dog examination association, important awards were also awarded. Ing. Franz Gößl and Franz Summerauer were honored as Austrian hunting dog exams. Dr. Walter Anzböck, President of the Austrian Hunting Association (ÖJGV), was a guest of honor and gave an informative lecture on the current developments in the association.

For extraordinary engagement in the club work, club badges in silver were presented to Erich Todt and Werner Riepl and to Herbert Ullmann in gold. Herbert Ullmann has also significantly promoted the digitization of the nominal and examination processing in the club. In addition, Robert Bernscherer received a certificate for the appointment of his German short -haired bitch Akira Kasta Bohemia for ÖJPS.

The Mistelbach hunting dog examination association organized a shooting and a snack at the Mistelbach shooting club as thanks to the district owners and tenants. The participants were able to train the safe handling of hunting weapons and shooting with various weapons. Both clubs, the shooting club and the hunting dog examination association, each have around 850 active members and maintain close cooperation.

The ÖJGV, which is responsible for the training and examination of hunting dogs, has been acting for almost 100 years and has the goal of adapting hunting dog training to animal welfare needs. This focus is important in times when social conditions are constantly changing. The ÖJGV is also responsible for cooperation with other hunting cynological associations and organizations in Austria.
